Drilling Additives

MATEX

EPL provides drilling additive products from Matex, the leader in environmentally safe drilling fluids and lubricants. Specialised in underground drilling fluid systems for diamond, production and development drilling, Matex fluids and lubricant products reduce drilling costs.

By reducing time spent flushing the hole, bit mudding, recovering stuck or lost rods, collaring the hole and re-drilling caused by hole stuffing, Matex products increase productivity and lower overall costs.

The use of very clean drilling products, free of petroleum oil, synthetic oil and heavy metals, is a prerequisite for drilling environmental monitoring wells.

The Matex product line includes drilling polymers, foams, tool lubricants, blast-hole stabilisers, thread compounds, hydraulic oils, antifreeze fluids, wire rope lubricants, and other drilling additive products.

Pumps

Elepump Diesel

The Elepump is available as a hydraulically operated unit or with a diesel engine, offering better fuel efficiency and lower overall operating cost.

Designed for simple maintenance, the Elepump requires only periodic oil checks and changes and worn parts can be replaced quickly and simply without special tools.

Elepump has a 45 gallon per minute pumping capacity for large drill site operations that demand greater throughput. Mounted on 4-cylinder Kubota V1305-40M transmission which offers 30 horse power at 3000 rpm, we also carry the Yanmar 30hp diesel engine which is better suited for the Elepump KF40.
